A highly interactive VR platform for audio-visual creation, performance, and solo or multiplayer jamming.
ℹ️Experience Information
About the experience
PatchWorld by PatchXR gives guests a spatial environment for building, connecting, and performing with sound and visuals. A prepared demo patch is the fastest route into creative flow.
🌀 Context Engineering Tips:
- Creative Setup Space: Ensure you have ample room to move freely and gesture expressively. PatchWorld is a performance and creation platform, so having physical space to experiment with patches, controls, and movement will enhance your flow state.
- Sound System Matters: For the full spatial audio and 4D sound experience, use quality headphones or speakers. The immersive audio design is central to PatchWorld, and proper audio setup will significantly impact your creative session.
- Start with Exploration: If you're new to PatchWorld, give yourself permission to explore without pressure to create something "perfect." Experiment with different patches, sounds, and visual elements to understand the system's capabilities and find your creative voice.
- Solo vs. Multiplayer: Consider your intention - do you want focused personal experimentation or collaborative jamming? Solo mode allows deep creative flow, while multiplayer opens possibilities for spontaneous collaboration and shared musical moments.
- Set Creative Intentions: Before entering, consider what you want to explore - a specific genre, a mood, an experimental technique. Having a loose creative intention can guide your session while leaving room for unexpected discoveries.
- Document and Iterate: Save interesting patches and combinations you create. PatchWorld rewards iteration and refinement. Return to saved creations to develop them further or use them as starting points for new explorations.

Setup & access requirements
- Open Library → PatchWorld and load the approved demo patch/workspace.
- If unavailable, switch Meta account/profile to Metanoic Vision; contact Jose on Telegram. Account email: jm@josemontemayor.com.
- Test audio, controllers, network/multiplayer, saved patch, boundary, and charge.
How to facilitate
- Ask whether the guest wants solo exploration or a collaborative jam.
- Demonstrate one sound/control interaction, then let the guest experiment.
- Keep prompts light; prevent menu complexity from consuming the session.
- Monitor movement, controllers, cable-free boundary, and volume.
- Save worthwhile creations only with a clear naming/reset workflow; ask: “What did you discover by playing rather than planning?”
Troubleshooting
- No sound → check headphones, output, master volume, and patch routing.
- Patch missing/broken → reload approved demo patch; avoid rebuilding during guest flow.
- Multiplayer fails → check Wi-Fi, account/session, then relaunch.
- Controller issue → battery/pairing/recenter; restart app if needed.
